In 2050, crewed vessels are operating in accompanied by a networked system of UxV’s. This fleet of autonomous assets functions as the eyes and ears of the taskforce far beyond the horizon, underwater, on the surface and in the air. The UxV’s do so without any need for human/operator interference. In other words, the UxV’s autonomously work together, explore, navigate, and interpret their environment, think of possible actions, choose and execute their decisions. Weapon systems on deployed autonomous assets remain a human responsibility.
